1000 days

Read this today and not sure if I feel better or worse: "Scientists say it takes 21 days to change a habit because we often resist change. According to yoga teachings, it takes:

40 days to change a bad habit into a positive one;

90 days confirms the new habit in you;

120 days allows the new habit to become who you are;

1,000 days ensures you have mastered the habit."

hmmm... I'm not really so much about changing a bad habit. I"m more interested in incorporating new activities, beliefs, results. I'm a little daunted by it taking 1000 days to master. Guess I'll go play my piano for a while and see if that makes me feel better.
